Ever since I have known Gloria she has spoken of being a Nurse. Now she is finally going to make that dream come true!
How many other guys my age do you know that get to say this?: My wife is a college girl, and she lets me help with her anatomy classes. :-)
Gloria is starting classes in January, for the Spring Semester at WSU (Washington State University)!!!

I am so very very VERY proud of Gloria! She was accepted to WSU right away, and the advisor said that she was very impressed with Gloria's ability and knowledge from working as a CNA in a major Hospital already.
Gloria's a bit nervous about starting classes -- first day of college jitters and all. But, I think that she will do wonderfully! I am convinced that she will be a much better student than I am! I have complete confidence that Gloria will be ranked at, or near the top of all of her classes.
The only roadblock right now is that .... yes .... once again we are expecting the arrival of yet another new member of Team Hooijman. Gaurenteed (medically) though, this is the last one!
Gloria and I have talked about her ability to stay up on her classwork, and have a baby all at the same time. And Gloria has convinced me that she is going to be capable of undertaking this Superwoman type feat.
I will be here to support her at every turn, but it may not hurt getting outside encouragement from family and freinds ... even through email.
